Don Holloman

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Holloman joined CRCHC as the Chief Executive Officer in October 2018. Mr. Holloman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and a Master’s in Education from Tennessee State University, in addition to certifications in Healthcare Management and Tax Accounting. Mr. Holloman brings more than 18-years of healthcare experience to this position as well as in-depth knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Centers. Over his career he has held positions as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer within the FQHC Industry.

Will Thompson

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Thompson directs all CRCHC financial activities and the overall financial and strategic objectives of the organization, while providing direction to the staff of the finance/accounting department in support of the greater organizational goal(s) and vision. ​Will graduated, in 2012, from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Will looks forward to what the future holds, both on a professional level and organization wide as the organization strives to grow and have an increasingly positive impact on the local community’s health and wellbeing.

Brittany Payne

Director of Administration

Brittany Payne is the Director of Administration at CRCHC. She is responsible for the development and oversight of high quality, cost effective and integrated strategic plans for the grants, programs or projects for CRCHC. Brittany is an experienced Quality Improvement leader and is driven to initiate and sustain improvement in practice efficiency, cost and utilization and quality of care. She has succeeded in using QI methodologies to engage clinicians and patients to better manage chronic conditions, improve health outcomes, and report greater satisfaction with care received in a value-based healthcare environment.

Toni Maddox

Human Resource Manager

CRCHC is proud to have Toni Maddox Human Resource Manager. Toni leads the people management activities to insure adherence to the policies and practices of the CRCHC . Toni is responsible for determining and providing leadership in developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the business plan and strategic direction of the organization. Toni also serves as the primary interface for labor, compliance, and third-party issues involving the Health Center, or its employees.

Jennifer Sass, MSN, FNP-C

Associate Clinical Officer

Jennie Sass serves as the Associate Clinical Officer for CRCHC. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Charlotte University. She also floats as an FNP to all CRCHC’s clinics. Before becoming a nurse practitioner three years ago, she was a nurse of 10 years with varied experience in Medical/Surgical, Oncology, and Postpartum care. She believes that good nutrition and regular exercise are key components to overall health and well-being. Her practice philosophy is to deliver patient-centered, compassionate care to every patient, every time.

Danita K. Washington

Chief Operating Officer

Danita Washington joined CRCHC in January 2019. She has over twelve years of revenue cycle management experience in healthcare, including being an essential contributor to an FQHC billing department's growth and sustainability. Ms. Washington received her MBA in 2008 and a certification in Nonprofit Management from UNC Greensboro in 2015.

Ritchie Glaspy

Chief Compliance Officer

Ritchie A. Glaspy joined CRCHC in October 2019. She has over 9 years in research and data analytics experience, including being an essential contributor to an FQHC’s data department’s development and growth that entailed: dental and medical EHR optimization, program evaluation, quality improvement, and PCMH and BCCCP implementation. Her expertise is in Data Analysis, Program Evaluation, EHR Utilization, Implementation Science, Project Management, and Team Facilitation in healthcare settings. Mrs. Glaspy holds a bachelor’s in Psychology and a M.P.A with a Nonprofit Management Concentration from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.

Stacy Vanderburg

Human Resource Coordinator

Stacy Vanderburg joined CRCHC in 2010 and is the Human Resource Coordinator. Mrs. Vanderburg is responsible for the coordination of people management activities to insure adherence to the policies and practices of the Health Center. She provides assistance to the executive leadership in developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the business plan and strategic direction of the organization. Ms. Vanderburg graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Georgia.

Amber Washington, DNP, APRN, FNP C

Assistant Medical Director

Amber Harper serves as the Associate Clinical Officer at CRCHC. Her practice philosophy is to provide culturally competent, and patient centered care that is rooted in compassion and evidence-based practice. She especially likes to educate patients on the importance of health promotion and disease prevention, which she believes is key in improving patients' overall health outcomes.

Hyman Fowler Jr., PA-C

Director of Clinical Services 

Hyman Fowler Jr is the Director of Clinical Services at CRCHC. Hyman graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. He worked as the Clinical Coordinator at Southern Orthopaedic Sports Medicine after graduation until acceptance into Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC for the Master of Science in Physician Assistance Studies. Subsequently he passed his certification and started working for Central Carolina Orthopedic Associates where he worked until moving to the Charlotte Area. He has been working with Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers since June 2017 until present. Beyond medicine, he enjoys spending time with his children, watching movies, and hiking the local North Carolina Piedmont Trails.

Lydia H. Adams, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Adams earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, in 2005. She completed her residency at Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program in 2008. She joined CRCHC at McGill Family Medicine in 2008 and was promoted to CMO in December of 2014.

Dr. Carlton Bruce

Chief Dental Officer

Carlton Bruce, DMD, received his Doctorate in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dentistry. He spent his last five years at the Community Health Center of Cape Code in Mashpee, MA. and has used his years of experience and skills to help CRCHC set up its first dental facility.

Zachery Talley

Regulatory Affairs / Legal Compliance Manager

Zachery Talley is the Manager of Regulatory Affairs and Legal Compliance at CRCHC. Mr. Talley completed his Juris Doctorate at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and holds a Bachelor of Science of Finance from the University of Miami Coral Gables. Mr. Talley utilizes his extensive background in law and finance to serve as a liaison between legal and regulatory bodies and the organization. Mr. Talley specializes in developing strategies to ensure regulation compliance and operating procedures and company policies are fully and properly followed. His work is driven by his passion for community engagement and advocacy. Mr. Talley enjoys spending time with family, outdoor activities, music, but can also be found enjoying a day on the beach.

Jamie Stevens, NP-C

Behavioral Health Director

Jamie Stevens is the Director of Behavioral Health Services as well as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at CRCHC. Mr. Stevens received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Psychology of the University of Southern Mississippi in 1995. He subsequently received his Master of Science in Nursing in 2010 and Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2021 from Fairfield University. Prior to becoming an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), he has had 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse working in inpatient, outpatient, research, and home and community settings, primarily in Behavioral Health Care. Jamie is now in his eleventh year of professional practice as a Board Certified Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
